FYE Industry Night at Purdue University

FYE Industry Exploration Night is an annual networking event that connects first-year engineering students with a wide range of industry professionals, alumni, and experienced peers. Designed to spark early career exploration, the event offers students valuable insights into diverse engineering fields and professional pathways.

Different from a formal career fair, this business casual, career exploration event will allow students to connect with specific Engineering roles among industry sectors. This type of networking will open lines of communication for students to ask specific questions about skill development, coursework and overall career advice.

  • Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
  • Time: 6-9PM
  • Venue: Purdue University, West Lafayette. Stewart Center, Rooms 214 and 218.
  • Who: Up to six engineers from a variety of disciplines, representing ACEC Indiana
