Description

Volunteer Opportunity!

ACEC Indiana has been invited to participate in "Tinkerfest," a daylong celebration of curiosity and creativity! Each activity invites children and families to tinker, make, invent, create, play and imagine! Volunteers are needed to facilitate a hands-on activity/demonstration that is both engaging and interactive with school children and visitors each day. ACEC staff will provide supplies for hands-on activities but we welcome your activity ideas! Please email Liz at LWalker@acecindiana.org to discuss your idea/activity.

TinkerFest 2026 at the Indiana State Museum is a two-day event. Friday, September 18, 2026 from 10am-1pm will be focused on school groups in K-8. Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10am - 5pm will be focused on families and the general public. Volunteers are encouraged to wear a firm shirt/polo, and you are welcome to bring flyers or giveaways though it is not required. Parking information will be provided closer to the date.

More information about Tinkerfest can be found online at www.indianamuseum.org/event/tinkerfest/.
